Forever Friday by Timothy Lewis WaterBrookPress ISBN: 978-0-307-73221-7

Imagine receiving a postcard containing a love poem from your soul mate every Friday for sixty years. What kind of love this must be! Forever Friday, the novel by Timothy Lewis, is the story about such a love. While handling Gabe and Huck (Pearl) Alexander’s estate sale in 2006, divorced Adam Colby comes across an album containing the postcards Gabe had sent Huck. Beginning in 1926, each one came on a Friday for 60 years. By reading the postcards Adam learns of the great love the couple had shared and he searches for their secret. His search for more information leads to the daughter of the couple’s deceased housekeeper. She is a mysterious woman and may hold the key.
This is a beautifully written story that remains fascinating throughout. While Gabe and Huck were not perfect individuals, they may have been close to being a perfect couple. Placed in a rich setting with interesting characters and lively prose, Forever Friday is a memorable novel.
