Elena’s Bridal store meant a great deal to Greg’s mother and her staff. Since her unexpected death, Greg, a successful attorney, now owns the store but running a bridal shop is not part of his expertise. Suddenly, the entire staff of Elena’s
Bridal can’t come to work and panicked Greg is faced with opening the store himself and somehow dealing with customers. All Dressed Up In Love, a novella by Ruth Logan Herne, is the delightful story of what happens next.
Tara, a law student, answers the ad for part time help. Her passion for the bridal business becomes evident early on and Greg hires her. The store is in financial trouble, but Greg decides to take a chance on staying open. Even though he and the staff are committed to preserving his mother’s legacy, there is more going on here. Greg begins to reevaluate his priorities and Tara takes a closer look at hers as well. Will this bring them together?
This is an endearing romance novella. It brings together wonderful characters who have very real emotions, values and compassion for others. They recognize what is important and are willing to embrace change. It was a pleasure to read this novella. I recommend reading it.
