Never A Bridesmaid (A Year of Weddings Novella) by Janice Thompson ISBN 978-0-3103-9606-2 Zondervan

Mari just assumed her recently engaged sister would ask her to be maid of honor. However, her sister asked someone else. Mari hides her disappointment and accepts she will be just a bridesmaid who will stand up with a fourteen year old groomsman who has a blemish problem. Putting all that aside, things get interesting and challenging as the maid of honor shirks her duties The only time she shows any interest in the bridal preparations is when Derrick, the good looking and famous best man, is around. Mari puts her hurt feelings aside and steps in to help with the wedding plans and along the way an unexpected romance develops.

I found this to be a wonderfully readable novella. This is a story about grace, honor and love. I recommend reading it.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers <http://booklookbloggers.com> book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
