Picture Perfect Love (A June Wedding Story) by Melissa McClone Zondervan ISBN 978-0-3103-9624-6

Jenna Harrison is a self employed photographer whose business is called Picture Perfect Photography. Recently she has also worked two part time jobs. The reason for this is that her ex-fiancé, Ashton Vance, left her with a mountain of debt when he ended their engagement just before the wedding. The reason for the break up? He refused to believe her when she told him she wasn’t the one who posted an unflattering picture of him in social media. Picture Perfect Love, by Melissa McClone, opens two years later. Jenna has made a new life for herself and the last person she wants to see is Ashton. Of course, she is shocked when he suddenly appears at her door to apologize for his accusations. His sister admitted she was the one who posted the picture. Jenna wants him gone, but then he adds insult to injury when he asks her to be the photographer for his sister’s wedding. From this point on Jenna finds both her strength and her heart tested. Gradually, Ashton finds his way back into Jenna’s life and a new version of the their former relationship forms. Suddenly, Jenna is thrown back into the same heartbreak she experienced two years ago. How many chances can she give this man?
Some of the characters are flawed and imperfect and their actions are difficult to understand. I found Jenna to be the most interesting and intriguing character of them all. Does she really want or need Ashton back in her life?
I found this story to be thought provoking and well written. There are surprises and the story moves quickly and is very easy to read.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
